This film shows the director's personal view about waterterritories in the Indonesian archipelago, Made with an essayapproach, this film begins from the word labuan, whichmeans the sail that is pulled up and down or a tribute.Through the perspective of the word labuan, the directorpersonally traces the social and political perspective of theproblems of waterfronts in Indonesia. This film essay revealsthat waterfronts in Indonesia are where the problemsaccumulate: history of power, religion, politics and varioussocial problems. Melalui sudut pandang kata labuan, sutradara secara pribadi menelusuri perspektif sosial dan politik permasalahan tepi laut di Indonesia.
