The film tells the story of a 15-year-old Papua teenager named Arnold (Octavianus Rysiat Muabuay), who meets a woman (Lulu Tobing) in a port and is obsessed with kissing the woman. At the same time, Arnold's 41-year-old father, Berthold (Philipus Ramendei Thamo), an activist and Kasuari dance instructor, is hunted by some people unknown for his political activity to demand justice over the detention of Theys Hiyo Eluay (Sylvia Roselani Samber), Chairman of the Presidium of Papua. Various incidents occurred at the same time, such as the death of Theys Hiyo Eluay after her kidnapping and the change of attitude of Arnold's friends. Sonya (Miss Baransano) now has a high sense of racist hatred, while Minus (Minus Coneston Karoba) loses her ability to whistle, a skill that means so much to her. Meanwhile, Berthold chose to hide because he was afraid of being chased and killed like Theys. Arnold's obsession with kissing the woman in the harbor suddenly became a story to show the character of every role in the film, like when the woman at the harbor Arnold was chasing and always crying depicted always trying to find the phrase "Don't Fear..." which is mentioned several times in the Gospels.

Film ini menceritakan tentang seorang remaja Papua berusia 15 tahun bernama Arnold (Octavianus Rysiat Muabuay), yang bertemu dengan seorang wanita (Lulu Tobing) di sebuah pelabuhan dan terobsesi untuk mencium wanita tersebut. Pada saat yang bersamaan, ayah Arnold yang berusia 41 tahun, Berthold (Philipus Ramendei Thamo), seorang aktivis dan instruktur tarian Kasuari diburu oleh beberapa orang tak dikenal karena aktivitas politiknya untuk meminta keadilan atas penahanan Theys Hiyo Eluay (Sylvia Roselani Samber), Ketua Dewan Presidium Papua. Berbagai macam insiden terjadi pada saat yang bersamaan, seperti kematian Theys Hiyo Eluay setelah penculikannya dan perubahan sikap teman-teman Arnold. Sonya (Sonya Baransano) sekarang memiliki rasa kebencian rasialisme yang tinggi, sedangkan Minus (Minus Coneston Karoba) kehilangan kemampuannya untuk bersiul, keahlian yang sangat berarti baginya. Sementara itu, Berthold memilih untuk bersembunyi karena ia takut dikejar dan dibunuh seperti Theys. Obsesi Arnold untuk mencium wanita di pelabuhan itu tiba-tiba menjadi alur cerita untuk menunjukan karakter setiap peran di film tersebut, seperti ketika wanita di pelabuhan yang dikejar Arnold dan selalu menangis digambarkan selalu berusaha menemukan kalimat "Jangan Takut..." yang beberapa kali disebutkan di Injil.
